(1/23/06) always losing or confusing things; explosive inward power

(Entered in paper journal at 6:20 PM at Starbucks on Canal Street and Centre Street in Manhattan.)

Dream 1

I was at dinner in a dim restaurant with my friend PD. PD's hair was cut very short and was pale blonde. The entire time I spoke with PD I felt dizzy and woozy.

I had two pens before me. As I went to explain something to PD I knocked both the pens off the table. We may actually have been at a wall booth with multiple tables, and I may have had a separate table.

As I bent down to pick up the pens PD laughed and said something to me about how I or my mind was always losing or confusing things. PD tilted her head back and laughed a little.

Dream 2

I spoke with my friend and Americorps coworker KA about some explosives plan. There was a diagram like this.

The circle was a material that needed to be moved up off of the square base or column. The amount of explosives was not sufficient to move the sphere (?) upward at all. But somehow the sphere had some kind of inward power of motion.

It seems like everybody had neglected the inward power in their calculations because it seemed like it would hardly be sufficient to get the sphere to its needed height. But I showed KA how triggering the upward movement in the sphere would cause the sphere, for a short moment, to weigh less (somehow, by having an upward force acting on it (?!)) by enough so that the explosives (dynamite?) could propel the sphere up to the desired height.

KA praised me and asked me why I didn't show the plan to people. I didn't think I could show the plan to anybody. I didn't know what to make of KA's comment.
