Dream 1
I was in a garden like a rose garden with my co-worker DE and a few other unknown people. We were all wandering around. It was a bright day and there were bright flowers of all kinds. I found DE in a "room" created by hedges. I must have seen him in the room at first, but I was now in there, and he stood at the entrance way.
I was in the center, kneeling beside an oval of green vegetation. In the oval were a few flowers. DE called them irises and said he liked them. I chuckled at first because they were so thin and stalky and looked a little wilted. But then I saw the wilting was actually an interesting, watery fringe of purplish pink. The flowers almost looked like orchids, except they were more disk-like, almost completely flat and featureless.
I could tell DE felt bad that I had chuckled at him. We walked out of the area and stood before a small fountain. the fountain was in a half circle shape and had Chihuly-like pipe structures, just a few, very thick and wide-mouthed, out of each of which came a couple gleaming flowers. DE and I may have discussed the names of the flowers.
Dream 2
I was in a restaurant with my co-worker DE and my boss BS. DE sat across from me and BS to my right, at the head of the table. The table seems to have been long, stretching to my left. The restaurant was small, dim, busy, with a light as if from a kitchen in the distance behind DE. There was a grainy feel to the vision of everything.
I had two drinks in front of me. Both were bottled. One, the one I was drinking, was like a Poland Spring bottled water. I put it down slowly, feeling a little sick. (Both bottles were booze.)
BS said, "Are you feeling drunk already?"
I said, "Yes." BS seemed a little disappointed. I tried to justify myself. I said, "Well, I haven't eaten all day. And last night I didn't get any sleep."
BS looked worried and said to DE, "He's making himself sick." He said, "Well, then, we better go do this thing." He told me about a race between the three of us. We were supposed to run down a hill that was just outside.
