Dream 1
I sat at my desk at work. I told my co-worker DE about some file I had created for him. DE said, "Okay, great. I just need you to do this other thing for me as well."
I said, "No. I have something to do for somebody else." I stood up.
We were walking toward, then past, DE's desk, down a section of the floor that doesn't exist in waking life. DE walked backwards as I walked forwards.
DE said, "Fine. As soon as you're done doing that one thing, I have these things for you to do."
I shouted (though both of us were laughing as well), "No! You've given me a lot of things to do, and I can't take anything else until I've finished what you've given me!"
I now walked up to my co-worker CJ, who sat where DE's desk would have been in waking life. CJ showed me one snapshot of two gourds or two snapshots, each with one gourd. He held the snapshots in his right hand and leaned back in his chair without turning around to show me.
The photo(s) was (were) taken at night, it appeared, with a light shining on the gourds. The gourds were grown misshapen and looked diseased. They were enormous. One was orange. The other was probably yellowish with greenish nets like veining.
At the tops of the gourds were "stalks" of metal-like wire, which coiled tightly around an unseen stump. The orange gourd's stalk was of thin wire that was very malleable and silvery. Near the top of the coiling, before the wire strung straight out, was a little lump of the wire, about the size of the head of a pin. The stalk at the top of the second gourd was thicker, duller, harder, like fence wire. Near the top of its coil was a lump like the head of a nail that had been wrapped a couple times in saran wrap.
